Since the beginning of the covid pandemic, the CZU Faculty of Economics and Management in Prague has managed to pass the state final examination in six planned terms, despite all existing restrictions (only the first term was postponed by one month). Over 4,000 graduates of bachelor's and master's degree programmes were thus able to complete their studies on time, without restricting their further studies or starting work. In addition, the exemplary approach of teachers and you has succeeded without a single transmission of infection. I would like to thank everyone very much for that.
Unfortunately, it is not in our capacity to carry out graduations for all these graduates, and we do not see a solution even in further postponement indefinitely. After a really difficult consideration of all possibilities, we decided to give preference to graduates of master's degree programmes, because for them it is the final possibility of graduation. According to our experience, students of bachelor's degree programmes usually continue in the next stage of study, so graduation will probably not miss them in the coming years.
I believe that despite the initial disappointment that some of you make this decision, you will understand our steps over time and in the context of all the contexts.
