Assessment of Education for Applying at PEF CZU
Internal evaluation is mandatory for admission unless you present a document of general recognition (nostrification) of your foreign education, a Czech/Slovak diploma, International Baccalaureate (IB) or European Baccalaureate (EB).
- You have already passed the admission exam for any program at the Faculty of Economics and Management (PEF) at CZU.
AND - Have foreign education that allows you to continue to higher level in your country.
AND - Your coordinator has nominated you for the process and you receive instructions on your e-mail. For this, it is essential that you regularly check your e-mail, including the junk and spam folders, and that you do not disregard any correspondence from PEF CZU.
Please note: Meeting the conditions above allows you to apply. It does not guarantee that your evaluation will be successful. The CZU committee may reject your application if there are any concerns, and in that case you will be required to proceed with the nostrification process.
Full rules and requirements for internal evaluation at CZU can be found on the official CZU website*:
* It is highly recommended to read all sections including Most common mistakes and FAQ
- Application: If applying for multiple programs at PEF, a single set of documents is sufficient. Separate fees apply for different programs.
- Fee for the Internal evaluation: Fee of 900CZK must be paid for the Internal evaluation process. This fee is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the proceedings.
- Registration: You must have your internal evaluation approved before you can enrol.
- Processing time: The whole process must be finished before the end of registrations.
- The process takes around 2 months to complete, and we do not bear any responsibility for applicants missing any deadlines or registrations.
- No Priority: Evaluation is performed on a first-come, first-served basis among PEF applicants.
- Result: If your evaluation is returned, you may need to submit additional documents or pursue nostrification. Keep in mind that it is not certain that your evaluation will be approved and our office cannot predict whether your documents will be accepted.
- Result delivery: Result will be published in your UIS account. The evaluation is for internal use only — no certificate or official confirmation is issued.
- Validity: The internal evaluation is valid only for the current admission year and for the specific program you are accepted to. If you are re-accepted, you must pursue internal evaluation again and you must comply with the current rules and processing time.
- Returning the documents: Documents submitted stay at the university. We never return them to the applicants under any circumstances.
For lifetime validation of your foreign education, consider undergoing the nostrification process.
