On February 11, 2025, students of the Innovative Entrepreneurship program will face an extraordinary challenge. The Faculty of Economics and Management at CZU Prague will host an intensive 8-hour innovation marathon – known as Birth Giving (BG) – where teams will work on a communication strategy for presidential visits to Czech schools. The very next day, February 12, 2025, they will present their ideas to a panel of experts, including representatives from the Office of the President of the Czech Republic.
What is Birth Giving?
Birth Giving is a fast-paced and demanding "entrepreneurial sprint" in which several student teams focus on a real-world challenge. Within 8 hours, they must:
- Analyze the problem,
- Find a creative solution,
- Prepare a presentation.
This method is part of the internationally recognized Tiimiakatemia® concept, which aims to connect theoretical knowledge with practice while fostering teamwork and decision-making under pressure.
Why Presidential Visits?
The Office of the President of the Czech Republic is looking for new ways to engage students and schools during presidential visits. Our students will have the opportunity to shape a real communication strategy that could influence how the President interacts with the younger generation.
"This is a unique innovation marathon that allows the President’s Office to gain fresh perspectives from the young generation. For us, it’s another great challenge to test our ability to work under pressure while supporting our future leaders and changemakers," says Ing. Ph.D. Gabriela Dlouhá, head coach of the Innovative Entrepreneurship program.
A Tradition of Collaboration with Leading Organizations
Students of Tiimiakatemia Prague have successfully tackled challenges for major companies such as Česká spořitelna, Decathlon, and Zásilkovna. Their approach consistently emphasizes creativity, sustainability, and an in-depth understanding of the needs of young people.
"It is already clear that our proposals can significantly improve communication between the President’s Office and students across the Czech Republic," adds Elen Kejdová, a student of Innovative Entrepreneurship.
