The very first summer school in Florida organized by the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague took place this year. It was a study abroad program based on the long-term relationship with a partner university called Indian River State College. There were 10 Czech students participating, with Ing. Iva Pintová and Mr Edmond Grady as supervisors. The summer school had started with a visit to New York city and continued with a stop in Washington DC. Afterwards, for the following two weeks, it had moved to Fort Pierce in Florida, where the students took part in the workshops and excursions arranged and led by IRSC professors and specialists from the Bank of America, Walmart, and Acura cars. When the official summer school program was over the students had an opportunity to visit Universal Studios, Disneyland, NASA and the Alligators Farm in Orlando. The summer school was very successful and we are going to continue with this cooperation also next year.
