Title of Doctor Honoris Causa for the Rector of CZU

On May 15, 2026, the Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), Prof. Dr. hab. Michał Jerzy Zasada, awarded the title of Doctor honoris causa to the Rector of CZU, Prof. PhDr. Michal Lošťák, Ph.D. The award was presented during the official opening of the SGGW Days 2026. This significant academic event also included awards for outstanding scientific and teaching achievements, medals recognizing contributions to the university, and the formal promotion of doctoral graduates.

The conferment of the Doctor honoris causa title is the highest academic honor a university can bestow. For Professor Lošťák, it represents a major recognition of his long-standing professional and academic career. This solemn moment is also a clear confirmation of the close and successful cooperation between CZU and SGGW.
