FEM Launched the 2026/2027 Academic Year

The ceremonial matriculation of first-year students took place in the CZU Assembly Hall in the presence of members of the FEM management and guarantors of individual study programmes. The path to their university studies was thus symbolically opened to the new female and male students.

The academic year was also ceremonially opened at the FEM Consultation Centres, attended by the heads of the centres and representatives of the respective towns. The meetings took place in Hradec Králové, Jičín, Klatovy, Litoměřice, and Šumperk. In Jičín and Klatovy, members of the FEM management also attended the opening ceremonies. In Jičín, the faculty was represented by the Dean of FEM, Prof. Ing. Lukáš Čechura, Ph.D., and the Vice-Dean for Development and Sustainability, Assoc. Prof. Ing. Lenka Rumánková, Ph.D. In Klatovy, the faculty was represented by the Vice-Dean for Development and Sustainability and the Vice-Dean for Quality, Assoc. Prof. Ing. Milan Houška, Ph.D.

The launch of the academic year is always an important moment not only for new students, but for the entire academic community. We wish all students at our faculty that the new academic year is a period of successful study, inspiring encounters, and new experiences. Above all, we hope they enjoy studying at our faculty and feel right at home here.
