the beginning of the new academic year is irresistibly approaching. After months spent in peculiar conditions, we were all looking forward to returning to normal. Unfortunately, the events of recent weeks gradually indicated that we would not be allowed this time either, and the final stop was finally brought by the Regulation Hygiene Station of Prague No. 12/2020.
Because of this we will start the semester without the possibility of in person teaching, i.e. it will be fully online like before. The advantage for all of us is the experience gained in recent months and the fact that we prepared in advance for all three variants of teaching - in person, combined and fully-online.
So what will the lessons look like?
Study materials and information on individual subjects can be found on Moodle. You will have lectures pre-recorded or live online. All exercises will take place according to the schedule live online in the environment of MS Teams or Google Meet (information and links can be found again on Moodle). For up-to-date information, we recommend monitoring the FEM website, FEM News Covid-19 and your email inbox.
During the summer semester, you provided us with valuable feedback via the form, so we will be happy if you use it again in the coming period.
Dear students, I believe that together we will successfully manage the current situation together and we will perceive it primarily as a life challenge and an opportunity to learn to function in new conditions.
I wish you all a lot of energy, a positive mood and, above all, good health for the coming academic year.
