due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation in the Czech Republic and with regard to the prevention of the spread of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and the new regulation, we are forced to postpone graduations, which were to take place on 12-18 October 2020.
Graduation is a solemn event that we do not want you or your loved ones to miss out on, so we decided to move this ceremony to the spring of 2021. At this time, perhaps the situation will be calmer and we will all be able to meet everyone and end the several years of your university studies.
If you need to pick up your diploma earlier, it is possible to do so at the relevant study assistant during office hours (this also applies to students who will take part in the deferred graduation). If you cannot collect your diploma in person, a certified power of attorney is required.
If you decide not to participate in the graduation and wish to refund the graduation fee, it is necessary to fill out a request for a refund. If the fee was paid at the CZU box office, it is necessary to provide your account number for its return upon request. The application can be submitted upon receiving the diploma, or a copy can be sent by e-mail to your study assistant or delivered by post to the FEM Study Department.
Thank you for your understanding. We wish you a lot of success in your personal and professional life, good health and look forward to meeting you at the graduation ceremony in April 2021 or on another occasion when you will visit your alma mater.
