Recognition of subjects is handled at FEM upon arrival, once you have received your Transcript of Records (ToR) from your partner university.
At FEM we distinguish between FSE (Final State Exam) subjects and Non-FSE subjects. This means that for the subjects listed in the files "Statnicove predmety_FSE subjects_Bachelor" and "Statnicove predmety_FSE subjects_Master", please follow the following section 10.1 and the request for "Recognition of the FSE Subjects". For the recognition of all other subjects in your study plan not found in the files, follow the procedure for the request for "Recognition of the Non-FSE subjects".
Consent for the recognition of credits and examinations of the FSE subjects can be obtained before, during or after the mobility on the basis of the request "Guarantor´s consent for the recognition of credits and exams of the FSE subjects studied during mobility" and the syllabus of the foreign subject submitted to the FSE subject guarantor. The original copy of the request, confirmed by the guarantor, must be submitted to the coordinator Ing. Veronika Brecklova or sent directly by the guarantor to pefoutgoing@pef.czu.cz.
Upon return and receipt of the ToR, you are required to submit electronically in Word to pefoutgoing@pef.czu.cz at least one of the following documents:
- "Request for recognition of credits and exams of the subjects studied during mobility (FSE subjects)" - preceded by the consent of the guarantor, see point 10.1.
Requests received will be reviewed by the FEM coordinator and recommended for recognition by the Vice Dean for International Relations. The requests are then forwarded to you and your Student Affairs Officer who, with the approval of the Vice Dean for Teaching and Learning, will enter the recognition in the UIS.
Note: You can also get recognised foreign subjects beyond your programme curriculum as electives in this way by writing "Non-European Mobility" in the FEM subject field.
