The virtual reality laboratory is used for research, development, and presentation of applications in virtual reality (VR).
The main technological equipment of the laboratory consists of mobile VR sets with controllers for interaction within the virtual world. Equally important is the CAVE (cave automatic virtual environment) device used primarily for simulations that integrate the virtual world with real control elements (e.g., vehicle operation or aircraft piloting).
The practical application of VR technology is interdisciplinary. Therefore, the laboratory can be utilized in various research or development fields (such as simulations, prototyping, architecture, medicine, marketing, etc.).
