If a student studies in a study programme that is provided in a foreign language, a fee is assessed in an amount stipulated in the CZU Constitution and in the following table (the fee differs depending on the Faculty, level of study or particular study programmes). As a rule, the fee is determined for every commenced year of study.
Decisions on assessment of a fee for studying in a foreign language are issued by the Dean of the Faculty concerned and these fees are payable before enrolment for study or before enrolment for the following year of study. Upon a student’s application, the Rector may reduce, waive or suspend the fee in justified cases. Applications must be filed by students through the intermediation of the Study Department of the Faculty where they study.
First year students of the English taught Study Programmes will find the instruction for payment of the tuition fees in the so-called Pre-enrollment confirmation for application to study at CZU. Other students can find the instruction for payment in the University Information System > Student´s portal > Study financing - at least 90 days before the due date, which is usually the date of enrollment in the academic year. Fees may be paid by bank transfer. The payment instructions include the Bank Account Number, the Variable Symbol, the Specific Symbol, and the Requested Amount - Sum (or an amount specified in Manually, which is the amount to he paid if specified). These details must be filled in correctly in the bank payment order, otherwise the payment cannot be paired correctly with the student. The payment can also be paid in cash at the CashDesk in Study Information Center of CZU. In order for a student to be enrolled for the academic year, the fee must be paid.
Information about tution fees for studies in English can be found in Dean´s regulation No. 7/2024 Determination of the tuition fee amount for study in a foreign language at the Faculty of Economics and Management.
