TeachAVC unites five universities from France, Poland, Czechia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Georgia to create a harmonized Master’s-level curriculum in agricultural value-chain analysis, focusing on the malting-barley sector. By blending secondary-data research with field-based case studies, hands-on workshops and summer schools, the project bridges theory and practice. All learning materials—syllabus, textbook, case exercises—will be accessible via an open-source online platform, and participants will earn institutional certificates for completing each module.
Over 3 years, TeachAVC will design and pilot a modular Master’s-level programme in value-chain analysis, enriching existing Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees across partner institutions. TeachAVC will equip future agrifood professionals with the analytical, technical and systemic skills needed to tackle sustainability challenges, strengthen competitiveness and drive innovation across European and neighbouring markets.
The main objective of the TeachAVC project is:
- Design a modular Master’s course in value-chain research.
- Enhance existing bachelor’s and master’s degrees with scenario-based, blended learning.
- Launch an open-access digital platform hosting courses, simulations and supporting resources.
TeachAVC unites those universities:
- ISTOM, School of International Agro-Development, France
- Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, Czech Republic
- Poznań University of Life Sciences, Poland
- University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Agricultural University of Georgia, Georgia
