The admission procedure to Bachelor study programmes for academic year 2024/2025
The entrance examination for the bachelor study programmes consists of two parts:
- Mathematics test
- Foreign language test
- for programmes taught in Czech - applicants have to indicate a choice of either English or German in their e-application
- for programmes taught in English - the entrance exams are all in English only
The list of recommended literature and sample tests can be found on the websites of the individual study programmes.
The entrance exams for prospective Bachelor students are held from June 10 until June 14, 2024.
The exact date of your exam will be stated in a digital invitation letter, which you will be access the latest one month before your Entrance Exam day trough https://is.czu.cz/prihlaska in the section: Document storage. The exact date of your exam will be noted as well in the section Entrance exam date of your e-application.
The Examination Board will ask you to provide:
- registration number of your e-application (stated in the e-application),
- your Identity Card (or passport, eventually other identification document),
- If you apply for a Czech taught study programme you will have to provide a proof of Czech language. This proof is either a Secondary School leaving certificate from a Czech or Slovak Secondary School or a FEM Czech Language test. You must arrive at least 30 minutes before the beginning of the examination.
The examination takes 90 minutes. It is permitted to use mathematical tables and a calculator during the Mathematics exam (it is NOT allowed to use mobile phone, PDA, PC, tablet or any other electronic devices).

For any communication with the faculty, please always state your full name, birth number (if you do not have one, please state your date of birth), and the registration number of your e-application. The registration number of your e-application can be found online https://is.czu.cz/prihlaska within your application or eventually in the invitation document in Document storage.
High school diploma must be submitted at the enrollment to study. Applicants who have completed their high school abroad must submit a nostrified high school diploma. Applicants will be invited to the entrance examination by May 9, 2024.
The entrance exam questions are prepared by the individual departments in multiple versions, which are finalised and deposited in the dean's vault the latest 10 days before the entrance examination. The exam version for the examination is selected at random on the examination day. The evaluation of the exams is carried out by Tests Evaluation Committees using scanners and information systems. The exams are anonymous. A point system is used for the evaluation and includes points only from the entrance exam.

The results of the exams are published 48 hours after the exam in the Internet application for the entrance exam results.
In accordance with Section 49 of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on higher education institutions and on amendments and supplements to other acts, the management of FEM CZU in Prague determined the highest possible number of applicants admitted to the first year of the Bachelor’s degree programs in FEM CZU in Prague in the academic year 2024/2025:

Request for an alternative exam date
FEM prefers electronic communication with applicants and requests electronically completed application form to all types and forms of study (https://is.czu.cz/prihlaska). Next to filling in the form, it is necessary to pay a registration fee of 750 CZK (30 EUR). In case of submitting several applications into multiple study programmes it is necessary to pay separately for each registration number of each e-application 750 CZK (30 EUR), it is not possible to pay with one shared payment due to administration procedure of recognising the payments to the individual applications.
The application to which the payment will not be assigned will be removed from the register on March 31, 2024. The fee is non-refundable at any stage of the admissions process.
