Only after the foreign education is successfully evaluated the applicant knows he/she is eligible to pursue the higher education (e.g. his/her education is equivalent to the education received in the Czech republic).
Generally speaking - if the applicant can pursue the next level of education in the country he/she received the previous education, he/she is usually eligible to pursue the education in the Czech republic. The same rules as in the original country of education apply in the Czech republic.
For instance:
- having Mathematics in the final examination in some countries is a rule to be accepted to the universities – the rule is valid during the Internal evaluation as well
- passing ZNO/NMT in the Ukraine – as the universities in the Ukraine require to pass the External independent evaluation, the universities in the Czech republic must adopt the requirement as well.
