The Department of Information Technologies is concentrating on educational activities, scientific research and cooperation with corporations, public administration and Czech and foreign universities. It is contributing to search for solution for various national and international projects and creating international teams for applied scientific research. The Department of Information Technologies is one of the departments significantly shaping the curriculum of the whole faculty. The team consist of 16 lecturers, 7 technicians and about 8 PhD candidates.
The main mission of the department has two aspect: educating professionals and scientific research of application of information and communication technologies in management of social and economic processes.
