You should fill in your study plan only when you already know exact dates of your mobility (approx. 1-2 months before the mobility). ISP can be collected in the Study Office Infocentre at FEM or it can be downloaded (see below). The ISP divides the study of single year into two academic year. This enables the students to take part in the mobility abroad.
This document requires a signature by Ing. Veronika Brecklová at the International Relations Office. And it is then submitted to an officer in the appropriate study programme.
After the approval of the ISP by Vice-Dean for teaching and learning of bachelor’s or master’s studies and assignment of a mobility by a study department officer to uis.czu.cz, it is possible to generate a Financial Agreement, which the student submits signed to the IRO at Rectorate and a scholarship can be paid.
After return, the student will terminate the request for an ISP with his / her study department officer and continue his / her studies with the recognition of some subjects according to the instructions below.
Recognition of Subjects is carried out at the Faculty of Economics and Management on the student’s arrival, as soon as you receive the Transcript of Records (TOR) from the host universtity. This is an official document of the partner university, which records study results. It is necessary to differentiate between the state exam subjects and the optional ones.
This means that for the subjects which are mentioned in the files of Recognition of Subjects - Bachelor study and Recognition of Subjects – Master study, you follow the instructions for Obligatory subjects. Recognition of other subjects from your study plan which you will not find in the files are processed using the Optional Subjects.
1. Obligatory Subjects are discussed by students with their supervisor (or the lecturer of the subject). The subjects should be assesed on the basis of the ECTS credits and whether the syllabi of both subjects correspond, i.e. it should be determined whether the subject studied abroad has the same content as the given subject at CZU. The student has the opportunity to obtain the so-called preliminary consent of the supervisor for the recognition of credits and exams before the mobility or to process the request for recognition of credits and exams in obligatory subjects itself only after the return.
Before leaving, the student will pick up the request "Preliminary consent for the recognition of credits and exams in subjects studied abroad (obligatory subjects)” in the Infocenter of the study department or can download it below. Then, with the request and syllabus of the studied subject abroad, student will go to the supervisor or teacher of the obligatory subject. Based on ECTS credits and agreement in the syllabus of both subjects, the student can obtain the signature for the request. Thanks to this signature, the student can enroll in a obligatory subject in the Home subjects section (Table B) in the Online Learning Agreement.
After return from the mobility with “Preliminary Consent” the student will submit a Transcript of Records, confirmed Preliminary consent and a completed “Request for recognition of credits and exams in subjects studied abroad on the basis of the supervisor´s preliminary consent” to the Vice-Dean for International Relations doc. Ing. Karel Tomšík, Ph.D., who, bases on the Preliminary Consent of the supervisor, recognizes the obligatory subject with the study result. The student will bring the signed request to his / her study department officer for entering the grade in is.czu.cz.
After return from the mobility without “Preliminary Consent” the student goes straight to the supervisor with the completed Request for recognition of credits and exams in subjects studied abroad (obligatory subjects), which can be picked up at the Infocenter of the study department or downloaded below. The student must bring with him / her the Transcript of Records and the syllabus of the foreign subject. The student will bring the signed request to his / her study department officer for entering the grade in is.czu.cz.
2. Optional subjects are recognized by the Vice-Dean for International Relations doc. Ing. Karel Tomšík, PhD on the basis of ECTS credits. Students must fill in a form titled Žádost o uznání zápočtů a zkoušek předmětů studovaných v zahraničí (volitelné a nestátnicové předměty) (Application for Recognition of Credits and Exams studies abroad (optional and non-state exam subjects).
