Web portal Včelstva online is intended both for professional and laic public with the intention of supporting breeding and protection of bees in the CR. The website is currently under development but even now the users can start reading interesting popularly-scholarly texts about bees, honey and beekeeping. In the future there will be other functions implemented to make the communication between beekeepers, farmers and interested parties easier.
The responsible person for the development of the portal is Ing. Jan Bartoška, Ph.D. from the department of System Engeneering FEM CZU in (bartoska@pef.czu.cz). The professional side of the project is under the responsibility of Ing. Martin Štoncner and Martin Fouček, Dis.. The development of the web portal is provided by the collective of programmers from the Centre of Information services FEM CZU. The main sponsor of the portal is Česká spořitelna, a.s..
