PEF 4th year students´ thesis topics selection in academic year 2006/2007

A student selects his/her thesis topic from the department´s offer through the BADIS internet application - http://badis.czu.cz  and participates in the selection procedure at the department.

7 - 30 November 2006
Theses topics selection process - all PEF/FEM 4th year students (including the Faculty Branch Centres) will choose their topics for June 2008. The topic is selected from the department´s offer through the internet application and the student participates in the selection procedure at the department. (This can be confirmed by e-mail or phone). All advertized theses topics are generally available to all students. The topics advertized for a certain study area have been designed and are available exclusively to the particular area students.

15 December 2006
Deadline for the submission of the "Thesis Task" to be approved by the Dean.  Prior to this the student must discuss the thesis topic with his/her supervisor who will work out the form in agreement with the student. The form is part of the internet application (including the instructions).

12 January 2007
Dedaline for the student to collect in the department office the signed (by the Dean) original of the Thesis Task.  The Task is part of the book-bound work. In the case of the PEF/FEM Faculty Branch Centres the Office of Studies will mail the uncollected tasks to the Branch Centre (the department office will pass them to the Office of Studies, Ms. E. Šimková, Ms A. Lakomá).

The student will check the data correctness in his/her application  for the State Final Examination (SZZ/SFE) and will sign for the SFE eligible complex subject (provided the subject has been set by the study course programme) - http://badis.czu.cz

30 April 2008 (for SFE in June 2008)
Deadline for the submission by the students of the diploma thesis.The student will submit two copies of the thesis, four copies of thesis abstract, and the thesis and abstract in electronic form. Further details and general complex of SFE questions will be given in a booklet "SFE in PEF Study Programmes" which is issued in the course of the winter term of the 5th year of studies.

Notes:
The credits (passes) must be achieved by the student in agreement with the study programme of the relevant course. The supervisor will mark the "pass" in the study book to witness that the student worked on his/her thesis continuously. The department then registers the "pass" .
